GM Paints Texo Compound is a premium acrylic‑based textured intermediate coat designed to elevate both interior and exterior walls across Saudi Arabia and Oman. Its advanced formulation effortlessly conceals minor undulations, pinholes and hairline cracks, delivering a uniform, long‑lasting finish with coverage ranging from 6.2 m²/L for light textures down to 0.3 m²/L for heavy applications . With 0 g/L VOC, it guarantees an eco‑friendly installation that meets global air‑quality standards without sacrificing performance . Texo Compound forms a strong bond with cement plaster, concrete, blockwork and rendered surfaces, delivering lasting performance even in the harshest conditions.
For optimal results, begin by preparing a clean, dry and structurally sound substrate, removing all dust and loose particles. Next, apply one coat of Acrylic Emulsion Primer, Tex Primer or GMshield Alkali‑Resistant Primer. Follow with a full undercoat of Texo Compound, applied via spray or hopper gun, then finish with two coats of your choice of GMacryl, Durathane or GMshield topcoat to maximize protection and color retention. Under typical conditions (23 °C, 50 % RH), the coating becomes touch‑dry in approximately 10 hours and can be recoated after three days . Texo Compound is available in 4 L and 18 L containers for Saudi Arabia and 17 L drums for Oman, making it easy to shop online and have your project up and running quickly .
